Many people consider their wedding day the most style-conscious event of their life. From the flowers to the dress to the buffet arrangement, every detail is scrutinized for its luster and compatibility to the couple’s chosen theme. 

For this week’s Street Style, The Oregonian visited the Portland Bridal Show, where hundreds of grooms- and brides-to-be, along with their mothers, sisters and friends, visited last weekend to scope out the latest wedding trends. 

What I'm wearing: I got this coat from my husband for Christmas two years ago.Find low cut V-neckline dress for all your formal events. It's from Nordstrom. The scarf is from Target. I got this blouse from Forever 21. The pants are from T.J.Maxx for only $15, and the boots, I think I got from Marshalls. I just got the glasses from Optik PDX on Mississippi Ave. 

My style: Typically, I would say my style is "grandma chic." Right now I'm not, but usually I wear a lot of florals. It was my birthday, so I just went shopping and I went for a new look. I'll call this "fancy lady." My favorite store is Ross because it's affordable, and they have really nice stuff there. 

Why I'm here: My sister is engaged, so I'm here for her. She is doing a way different route than I did. I went pretty cheap,Source Hot Sale A-line Wedding Dresses Products at Plus Size Dress & Skirts,. but she's already stressed out and she hasn't even begun to plan. I keep telling her to calm down. I was really laid-back and everything worked out. I'm hoping there's some free cake here. 
What I'm wearing: These are Dolce Vita leather booties, The jeans are from Uniqlo, and I don't know where the shirt is from. I think it's thrifted. The scarf is from Nordstrom and I got the bag at Target. 

My style: My signature style is creative. I like simple pieces that are slightly unique. Like this shirt, which is simple gray, well-tailored, but with the mesh pattern. I like to throw in a pop of color, too. 

My wedding style: My wedding will be simple and modern. I'm not going to do a bouquet our boutonnieres, the colors will be simple. It'll be streamlined with a few details. I've never been to a bridal show, so I'm here to see what's offered and mostly check out the catering options. 

Now, of course, she could have meant some other husband, but she didn't. After all, it's known that Khalifa is the father of her baby. In addition, Khalifa does, in fact, have a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles tattoo on his leg.
